We slept well because it was quiet at night, and the room and bathroom were clean. The central station is close by, which made the location very convenient. Severin, the owner, runs things herself and knows the city well. She was helpful and gave us tips on places to visit. No complaints about the room.

The room was clean and roomy, with air conditioning, a kettle, and a hair dryer. Termini is right outside, and the Terravision bus stop is across the street. I did get frustrated by the rats around the area at night. I don't think that's the owner's fault, but maybe the local services could do something about it.

I wish I'd known before booking that this is a three-bedroom apartment shared with other guests. You get a key and passcode for both your room and the apartment entrance, so privacy wasn't an issue, but I would have liked that to be clear online. The owner was great and helped with information. She served us whatever we wanted for breakfast and cleaned the room every day. She even left umbrellas in the hallway in case the weather turned bad. The room itself was modern and very clean, with a TV, minibar, and air conditioning.

Our room was much bigger and cleaner than I expected. The bathroom and shower were huge, and there was a queen bed, sofa, air conditioning, fridge, closet, and wall-mounted flat-screen TV. For central Rome, paying less than €100 a night felt like a great deal. The host was friendly and helpful, and lent us umbrellas when we needed them. She also gave us maps and tips. The breakfast trolley she brings each morning was fabulous, just as other reviewers had said. I highly recommend Beatus Viator Guest House!
