There’s plenty of outdoor space and a lovely pool, plus apartments with kitchenettes and tables for eating both indoors and outside. Breakfast comes with homemade cakes, milk, coffee, tea, and toast. Google shows two ways to get there, but one is actually a dirt road. If you're not sure which route to take, arrive in daylight on your first day or call the property.

The pool is just steps from each apartment, and it's large, clean, and has loungers and umbrellas. The water is a perfect temperature. Stefano is usually at the bar next to it and is happy to chat, and guests can have cappuccino and brioche there for breakfast. Each apartment has air conditioning, a washing machine, cooking utensils, sheets, and towels, so you don't need to bring a lot of luggage. They overlook a large garden with sweeping views of the Umbrian countryside. The estate is in Umbria, a few kilometers from Lake Trasimeno and Castiglione del Lago. It's a relaxing little corner of paradise, and by car you can get to the lake quickly or head farther afield. Pienza, Montepulciano, Monteriggioni, and Arezzo are nearby, while Città della Pieve and Lake Piediluco are a little farther away. Definitely recommend a stay.

The food is excellent, cooked with local produce and a clear focus on quality. Portions are generous and the price more than fair. The apartments are spacious and, above all, clean. The farmhouse is about 10 minutes from Castiglione del Lago, in a panoramic spot that suits anyone after a few days of real rest. Summer evenings cool down and bring some relief after the scorching sun, and the beautiful pool is refreshing during the day, even when it's infernally hot. Absolutely recommend it. Leave your worries behind and relax.

The fishing lake was a lovely surprise. The large apartment is well maintained and has a stunning view, and the pool is comfortable and quiet. Recommended.
