We had a nice break here with my partner and toddler. The staff were warm and friendly, and we liked the green estate, pools, playground and children’s play area. The room layout was tricky, though. The bed shares a room with the lounge and kitchen, with only a short flight of stairs between them. Those steps felt dangerous with a toddler, so we had to put a large barrier at the top to prevent accidents. It also wouldn’t work for anyone with reduced mobility, such as an older person, someone injured or someone with a physical disability. We were told all the rooms were laid out this way. In my country that would be illegal because it isn’t accessible, though perhaps Italy has different rules.

I loved the peaceful surroundings and all the beautiful nature. The grounds are very well cared for, and the beach is about 700-800m away. The walk there is refreshing and peaceful, with nature all around and that wonderful smell. The only reasons I’m not giving five stars are that my apartment wasn’t very clean and some basic kitchen items were missing. Apart from that, it was amazing.

A pleasant place for a holiday, surrounded by green Tuscan macchia. The setting is lovely, but the children’s entertainment and shows we hadn’t asked for can spoil the natural feel. Information about these activities would help people avoid surprises in August.

It was quiet, even though there seemed to be things that could have been going on. The area was really nice and the apartment was clean, but there was no WLAN in the room, and it felt like the hotel was trying to save money wherever it could. We visited in late July to early August 2018.

I stayed two nights and barely slept. The bed was unbelievably hard, like sleeping on the floor. So uncomfortable.
