That terrace is great, and the apartment itself is nice. The dishwasher wasn’t working, though, and the bathroom really needs redoing. Taking it all into account, the price feels a bit high.

For €120 a night, I expected more. The place is very damp, and the condition and cleanliness of the house are questionable. Plaster is coming off the ceilings, the bathroom door is rotten, there was visible dirt behind the bedside table, and the wall hairdryer was burned out and made a strange noise when I tried it. Breakfast isn’t offered, though I have nothing to say about that, maybe that’s better. The room for four was spacious enough, with a large double bedroom and a second bed made from a sofa that wasn’t very comfortable. The kitchenette was basic but complete. The location is a plus, near the center and only a few minutes’ walk from the sea. Parking isn’t far, but it’s inconvenient if you forget something. At these prices, I can’t recommend staying here unless they come down significantly.

We booked one night in a studio that had all the equipment you’d expect, but it was dirty. The sofa bed was awful, with such a low mattress that we woke up with back pain. We hadn’t asked for an accessible bathroom, but that’s what we were given. The toilet was awkward to use because it was too high, and there was no bidet. The price didn’t feel at all fair for a studio with a sofa bed, and it was a very bad experience. The next morning we politely raised our concerns, but the owner showed no sympathy. We decided to leave instead of staying on. While we waited to load the car, we heard the owner talking about us to another guest, apparently thinking we’d gone. She called us rude and ignorant, and said, “I would have slapped them,” even though all we’d done was explain that we were uncomfortable.

We were two and stayed at Residence Teclini for the last two weeks of July 2022. The beach is an easy walk away, and the residence itself is in a peaceful spot where we never had noise or other disturbances. There’s a lovely shared garden with flowers and plants, plus a shaded table and chairs, and every apartment gets a reserved parking space. Our room was tidy and very clean, with everything we needed for a holiday: a comfortable sofa bed, kitchenette, table, TV, microwave, dishes, plates, cleaning supplies, dishcloths, towels, hairdryer and air conditioning. The bathroom was clean and comfortable, with basic, recent fittings, and the apartment seemed to have been renovated recently. They sanitize with ozone between guests. There’s also a private gated balcony with a drying rack. The managers were kind from the first email. When an unexpected event came up, they changed our dates, and the owner was just as friendly and helpful in person, always smiling and with a kind word. She felt genuine, not servile.
