Residence Bellevue

The town itself is really pretty, which was lucky because the stay had some drawbacks. We found a bungalow attached to a house where the neighbor was deaf, and the TV was on at 5 a.m., which wasn't great. The accommodation was spacious but felt cold. For coffee in the morning, there was only a one-person Italian coffee maker.

We stayed on December 29th, after finishing the Salento walk, and everything went smoothly. Check-in was simple and professional, and the apartment was beautiful, with a terrace looking out to sea. Congratulations!

The apartment is compact but works well, and the shower is nice. Having two washing machines in the living room turned out to be genuinely useful. It's a ten-minute walk to the center of Santa Maria di Leuca, so the location is handy while still being away from the busy center. A few things could be better. The kitchen was understocked for us, since we had rented a place specifically to cook, and there weren't breakfast cups. Paper towels were limited to one per person, with each extra one costing 0.50 cents, and we couldn't find a general sanitizing spray to wipe down the table or stove. The front door opens onto a shared passageway, but it only has a Venetian blind, so privacy feels a little lacking when it lets in light. Still, it's a decent apartment in a good spot. A few extra touches would improve it.
