La Dorada

The setting is quiet and romantic, and there's a new spa with lots of different amenities. Breakfast was good, with a beautiful view of the mountains and old city. It's well placed for hiking, with one lift just a five-minute walk from the hotel. There's also a market, restaurants and the town of Corvara nearby. Lidia and her team gave us wonderfully friendly service throughout our stay. :-)

We had a very romantic stay here with my boyfriend. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was nice and clean, with a local touch. The luxurious spa was a perfect place to relax after a day hiking. It's also a great spot close to everything in the little town and well placed for different hiking routes.

We came for a cycling holiday, and this is a cyclists' paradise. I can only imagine it's just as good for skiers in winter. There are hiking paths in every direction, and a small supermarket is only a couple hundred feet away. The apartments have a well-furnished kitchen, and there's parking in front of the building, plus locked ski and bike rooms in the basement and an elevator. The terrace is fantastic for taking in the beautiful scenery. Rooms are beautiful and immaculate, and the owners are the nicest people, doing everything they can to make your stay perfect. Breakfasts are amazing, with fresh yogurt, local deli items, freshly baked bread, homemade pastries and more. Fantastic place to stay in Colfosco. Highly recommend.

The wellness area was a great experience, with a gorgeous, luxurious new interior, two spacious saunas, Turkish and Finnish, an IR cabine, and an outdoor whirlpool with hot water. The resting area is magic. The hotel is in an excellent spot close to the gondola, and the rooms are very clean, cozy and well equipped. Staff are great, warm, welcoming and nice. Highly recommended!
