We had a lovely stay in a small apartment right in the center, with a parking spot, which is almost impossible to find. The host took great care of us and had food waiting in the fridge when we arrived. It’s small, but roomy enough for a few days while enjoying Castro’s beautiful beaches.

The interiors were clean, functional, well kept, and welcoming. The penthouse sits right beside Castro Marina’s famous square, so it’s convenient and well served. Paolo and his gracious wife were the kindest hosts I’ve met on my travels. They gave us great suggestions for restaurants, places to visit, and nightlife. It was a fortunate encounter that made our stay in this magical part of Salento more enjoyable and helped us appreciate the warmth and class of the Salento people.

Paolo and his wife make you feel completely at home, always kind, available, and full of helpful advice. They even left us two pastries to welcome us. Their care shows in every detail, from the cleanliness to the warm atmosphere. We’ll be back to Castro, for sure!

The terrace was the standout, with a lovely view of the sea and charming Castro Alta. The apartment was only steps from the water, with restaurants, shops, and basic groceries nearby. It was a lovely surprise: small, but welcoming and equipped with everything we needed, and very clean. Paolo was incredibly kind, attentive to every need, and full of good advice. Everything was perfect. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking to relax and enjoy Salento. Gianluca and Martina.
