Dinner was decent, and the food was a bright spot. The appetizer buffet was good, the first and second courses were good too, portions were generous, and they even offered dishes outside the menu without charging extra. Breakfast was decent as well. The staff brought each of us a croissant and our order, with a buffet of still water, fruit juices, bread, toast, biscuits, jams, honey, hazelnut spread, and butter. There was no international breakfast, though: no yogurt, cereal, bacon, cold cuts, omelette or eggs, sausages, or cheese. The staff were okay, but the hotel needs modernizing and the rooms cost a lot for the service offered. The exterior and indoor parking areas are both too small. In the evening it's hard to find a space, so we had to park in makeshift spots. The hotel seems decent at first, but inside the dated decor becomes obvious. The furnishings are old, the safe didn't work, and the small Italian electrical outlets and phones from the 1960s give a typical crackle when you pick up the receiver. The beds were unbearable and noisy whenever we turned over. The walls offer no privacy, and you can hear people moving room to room as if they're coming into yours. It felt like sleeping in your eighty-year-old grandmother's room. The shower drain was broken, so you had to be careful not to hurt yourself. You couldn't bag the trash. The TV was fortunately flat, but made a strange background noise. AC was available for a fee. All rooms had a small terrace for smokers.

A bit dated, but it works. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was excellent.
