Hotel Liolá

A standard stop for bus tours, with roomy washrooms and a helpful little lady there to give directions and assistance. There's a small tip jar for her, and she's cute. On the way down to Pompeii, service was incredibly quick when you needed the washroom, coffee, or a meal. With several tour buses, though, getting your order in becomes a race. You pay first for coffee or sandwiches, then rush to collect them. My first time felt like an old fashioned stock market, with everyone yelling and waving their little receipts. The staff handled it well, though they probably have PTSD, lol.

We stopped here on a tour. The food was okay, the drinks were good quality, and the prices weren't bad. Service was poor while we were there.

It's a nice little hotel with clean rooms and excellent restaurant food. The bar and restaurant waitstaff were good too. The location doesn't offer much entertainment or many options, yet the place has earned four stars. The souvenir shop and other items may be a little expensive. Still, I highly recommend it.

There was a broad selection of packaged goods and souvenirs, but the fresh items on display at the counter didn't look very appealing. It's set up for Asian tour groups, so it was often crowded, with long lines for everything.
