After spending a month in Sicily researching on behalf of my grandfather's regiment, the 61st Highland Anti Tank Regiment, I chose to spend my last two weeks in Catania here. I had a huge, spotless room and watched the sunrise from the balcony every morning. The cleaners kept it immaculate each day, with fresh, crisp sheets. I was packing light and needed laundry service, which the hotel handled easily, returning my clothes the next day. The minibar was free for my stay, and it was excellent value for money. The reception staff were friendly and super helpful around the clock. Breakfast was free every day, and I also ate here in the evenings several times. The kitchen staff were excellent. The young woman who served me at night spoke impeccable English, always had a lovely smile, and made me feel welcome. I enjoy that the hotel is peaceful, away from the city centre. It's about a 45-minute walk into the centre, which gave me some much-needed exercise. I'll be sad to leave. I really couldn't recommend a better hotel in Catania. Thank you, Airone City Hotel, for a magnificent stay.

The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the staff were polite and professional. Free parking and complimentary minibar use were nice extras. It's conveniently located for good bus connections into the city centre. We had a great experience and highly recommend it.

Parking was easy, and getting into and out of the city was quick. Our accessible room was spacious, well appointed, and suited our needs very well. The food was very good at both breakfast and dinner, and the restaurant and front desk staff were kind, helpful, and accommodating. It was a very pleasant stay, and the hotel exceeded our expectations. A Simóne, Gaia, Miriam Gloria e tutti noi vi siamo molto grati!

The rooms were clean and had up-to-date equipment, and the staff were friendly and spoke both Italian and English. Breakfast was the usual Italian style, with a variety of delicious pastries. There's parking, too. A good hotel in Catania.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a view of the pool and courtyard. We also appreciated the complimentary minibar, which had soft drinks and snacks. After our flight from Edinburgh to Catania, the staff were very helpful and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. It helped us unwind after a long day of travel.
