The rooms are beautiful, and breakfast is well worth signing up for. Don’t miss the espresso, it’s perfect every time. The owner and staff were amazing and always on top of everything. I definitely recommend staying there.

The apartment was unbearably hot, with just one small, very loud AC unit. We had planned to stay for 5 days, but after a sleepless night we decided we had to move. Having to find another place so quickly was really inconvenient, especially with all our baggage. We’d booked a different property from the same owner, but they sent us to another apartment instead. The owner doesn’t speak English and asked us for extra cleaning tax because we hadn’t stayed two nights. It was awful to be asked for more money after a sleepless night in a place that wasn’t livable in that weather. The location is quite central but far from the beach, and I might recommend the apartment in winter. I wouldn’t recommend the owner, who seemed deceptive and not client oriented.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at the Bellini Home B&B, and the kind, gracious staff made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade Sicilian cakes and pistacchio cream. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet, and well air-conditioned, even in the city centre, and Covid regulations were respected. The terrace was lovely for breakfast, and the location made it easy to walk to Catania’s main sites. On a summer day, the Bellini Gardens next door were a welcome break from the heat. We look forward to staying again on a future trip to Catania. Grazie mille!

The building might look old and a bit creepy, though Catania as a whole is like that. The location is central, with a supermarket across the road and via Etnea, the best street for turists in Catania, just 3 minutes away on foot. It has a balcony, AC, safe, soap, and clean towels, all for under 100 euros per night in late September. For the money, it was perfect, with a good breakfast included, friendly staff, and good cleaning. A good place to stay at night while visiting Catania.
