We only stayed one night. The room was modest, with air conditioning, and the location was handy for the center. I recommend messaging through WhatsApp. About the owner's clarification that the bathroom is private: it would help to label the door as a private bathroom. The keys were left in the bathroom door lock, not on our key ring, so I thought it was shared. Thanks to the owner for clearing that up. :-)

It was handy being close to the building where our reception was, and the location is central. Still, I wasn't happy with the stay. The bathroom was outside the room, there weren't enough towels, and there were no toiletries besides toilet paper. For a B&B, there wasn't anything for breakfast, not even a bottle of water. The photos were misleading, since the place didn't look like them.

We arrived at 11pm and left at 9am. The place was clean and welcoming, and our bathroom was private. The owner was very kind. Thanks again.

The apartment was clean and peaceful, and a great base for taking in the feel of Catania. Restaurants, shops, and the Fish Market are all easy to reach, with the Church of St. Agatha about a 7-minute walk away. The beach takes around 30 minutes on foot. It's close to the city center.

We explored the center on foot from this historic, central property, and it was easy to catch public transport to the beach and other places. The rooms are striking, distinctive, and very spacious, and everything was clean. The welcome from the family, the young owners' helpfulness, and the excellent breakfast made the stay especially lovely.
