Luca stayed up to meet us when we arrived at 3am, even though we’d booked and told him we’d be late. He showed us everything, and after a week traveling around Sicily, we came back to stay with him again before our flight. He also had plenty of suggestions for things to do and places to go, so I’d recommend asking him. The apartment is in a great spot, near the local market and the restaurants and bar street, with the fish market and other sights within walking distance. The bed was comfortable, the showers were clean, and we had what we needed for a night’s sleep or a quick rest during the day. Highly recommend this B&B. Thanks, Luca, we had a great time in Catania because of you. :)

The breakfast had plenty of variety, with really tasty marmalades and very good espresso. We had a comfortable bed and our own private bathroom, though the shower area could have been cleaned better. It’s a lovely B&B with a homely feel in a quiet location. There’s a pizzeria nearby that stays open late, which is handy if you arrive in the evening. We’ll definitely come back!

Luca made the trip memorable, explaining anything we asked about and introducing us to local treats like pistachio cream and different pastries. He even waited for us to arrive, although it was early in the morning, and prepared breakfast. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked, and the balcony faced the street. Mornings were a little noisy, but shutting the blinds blocked it out. He’s incredibly nice. Thank you, Luca!

The only good thing about this apartment is its location. It felt dirty and old as soon as I walked in. The owner lives there and sleeps in the shared living room, which is very uncomfortable. He wanders around the apartment and comes at 3 in the evening. The shared kitchen has nothing in it, and the dishes are dirty. The bathroom is horrible, filthy, and stinks!

The rooms were spacious, clean, and great. Luca was a lovely host and had lots of tips for Catania. I’d definitely stay here again.
