Hard to recommend. This is an attic converted into a condo, with a tiny bathroom, a gas cooker on a cylinder, and poor electrical facilities. The WiFi was weak, the neighborhood was loud, and there were lots of mosquitoes.

The owner told us on arrival that the bathroom light was broken, and we accepted that. Once he had left, we found the toilet wouldn't flush either, and the entire apartment was dirty. Since it was our final night in Catania, we put up with it. The next day, the owner messaged us on WhatsApp, accusing and insulting us over alleged damage to his apartment. A complete disaster. There are plenty of other hotels and rooms available, so save your money and stay somewhere else. This place isn't worth it.

There is a private garage where you can park safely, and the large terrace has a beautiful view of Etna and the old town. The owner was friendly and helpful.
