The owners were very accommodating, and they made sure nothing felt like too much trouble. The rooms are clean and really spacious, so don't be put off by how the outside looks. There are several excellent restaurants nearby with delicious food at very fair prices. It's about a 10-minute walk to the centre of Catania. This isn't a 5 star hotel, but it's a good fair-priced room option close to the main attractions.

The room was spacious and had its own bathroom. Soundproofing could be better, but the neighborhood was pretty quiet and I slept without any trouble. Room 2's bed felt a bit too soft to me and probably needs replacing. From outside, the building looks run-down, which doesn't give the best first impression. Inside, though, the lobby is clean, modern, and welcoming. The owners are friendly and happy to give city tips. There's no breakfast, but at this price that's fine, and they do provide a coffee or tea maker. The location works well, very near Ursino Castle and, I think, within 700 meters of Catania's city center, including the fish market and cathedral. Everything else was fine.

The area around the place is noisy and not attractive, but the location is close to the castle and the cathedral. The room itself was great, spacious, and clean, with very fresh-smelling bed and bath linens. The owner was really kind. We arrived early, and he let us leave our bags and gave us the keys. When we came back, our things had already been put in the room. He also let us pick them up after checkout time.
