Everyone I met, including the owner and other travelers, was so kind and welcoming. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and shared areas were all very clean. I only spent one night here, but I'd stay again if I return to Catania. At check-in I got a tour of the complex and detailed suggestions for what to see and do during a day in Catania.

The room was quiet, spacious, and really nice, and the whole place was spotless. I had everything I needed in the kitchen for cooking and making coffee. The person in charge waited up for my very late arrival and kindly shared ideas for places to go. It's one of the best places I've stayed: comfortable, welcoming, and fun. I'd definitely try to stay there again when I'm in Sicily.

It has all the amenities you need to be comfortable, but still feels like the kind of hostel from back in the day: welcoming, friendly, soulful, and real. The location in Catania is great too. The street is quiet, yet all the action is only a three-minute walk away.

I went for an event for Travellers and people wanting to learn English. The Improv English event is meant to help English Language teachers especially, with the instructor bringing different ideas to get participants interacting.

It can be a little difficult to connect with the volunteers and younger guests as an older traveler, but this place is still a total gem 💕 The atmosphere is generous and relaxed, with none of the endless rule posters you see in other places. It feels cozy and special, much more like a home than a hostel. There are guitars to play, and one evening there was a fun music event with free buffet snacks beforehand. I really enjoyed it.
