Castello Ursino Apartments

Carmelo was a wonderful host and always reachable on WhatsApp. The room had a terrace, at least ours did, plus a private bathroom with a hairdryer, towels and gel. There was also coffee, tea, water, dishes and what we needed to put together a quick meal or a bread roll with whatever ingredients we wanted. The basics, including oil, salt and sugar, were provided. The place was clean and cozy, right by Castello Ursino and close to the everyday bustle of central Catania, while away from the nightlife noise. If I come back to Catania, I wouldn’t look for another place at this price. 100% recommended.

The apartment is small and basic, so keep your expectations modest. It has a double bed, kitchenette, Wi-Fi, private bathroom, and one room used for living, sleeping and dining. There’s a shared terrace with the neighboring apartment. It’s affordable and well located, and the housekeeper was very helpful.

Nearby, there are places serving excellent grilled meat sandwiches, cooked and eaten right there.

So comfortable and roomy, and you can see everything from the balcony! Couldn’t ask for better.
