Catania Charming House

We spent January there for a month and loved every minute.

A spacious apartment with refined design and comfortable rooms, priced fairly for what you get. It's near central Catania, around a 15-minute walk from everywhere. There are three bedrooms, one single and two doubles, and two bathrooms. The only downside is that there's just one shower, which the booking site descriptions don't mention.

The hosts made us feel like family, waiting for us and welcoming us so warmly. They were great with the children and quickly found toys for them. They'd even bought breakfast things, including cereal and yogurt for the kids. We stayed in a quiet, charming townhouse with two balconies, air conditioning, and a reasonable price. The apartment is tastefully decorated in a distinctly Italian style, with three large bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and dining area, a bathroom and a separate toilet. Everything was clean, and the shower is so large four people could fit in it at once. The location is fairly good. You can park outside, although finding a space sometimes takes a bit of looking, as is typical in the city. The street is one way, with a toll on the right side. Parking at the left curb is free ;-). I imagine the balconies are even nicer in summer.

A warm welcome that makes you feel at home, and a very central location that makes it easy to explore the city.
