Hotel Centrale Europa

The balcony looked out over the main plaza, and everything was close by. I was comfortable in the room, with great air conditioning and hot water. When my phone overheated and wouldn’t restart, the front desk helped me get it working again. The service was super duper. I loved this place and highly recommend it!

The staff were great and very helpful, and it’s a great spot. My one gripe is that the shower is very tiny to get into. Even so, I’d highly recommend staying here.

The view of Piazza Duomo is beautiful, and the room was quiet even though it’s right across from the square. It also kept out the cold in winter, which really surprised me. The bed was large and comfortable, and it blocked out the light so the room stayed very dark for sleeping. The shower water was very hot. I stayed on the third floor, and there’s no elevator, but I managed the stairs with my bags. The staff were very kind and attentive even though I don’t speak Italian, and the value for money was excellent. Breakfast isn’t included, but we got a coffee coupon for a café in the square. There are great restaurants nearby and you can do everything on foot. Don’t miss the wonderful croissant at Cafeteria Duomo just below the hotel! 😍 I hope to come back to Catania someday! 🇧🇷

I could check in at any time, which was great since I arrived late. My room had the stunning view shown in the pictures. It’s very loud even at night, but otherwise I can’t complain.
