Sofia was so sweet, smiling, and beautiful when she met us at the airport, brought us to the hotel, and helped us check in. We stayed for a week in Catania, and the rooms were clean and tidy with daily housekeeping. The hotel is in the old district, about a 15-minute walk from the center. It’s a lovely walk past beautiful buildings, local cafes, and other places. We could contact Sofia any time, and she suggested cafes and excursions. We tried all the places she recommended. I’d recommend this place 1000%.

The staff, the owner and his girlfriend or wife, were absolutely lovely and ready to help with anything. The location is great, within walking distance of the center, shops, bakeries, and restaurants, while still being in a quiet spot away from the city bustle and close to the main attractions. My renovated room was fresh, clean, and very nice, with working AC, a small fridge, and a TV I didn’t use. They make sure you get fresh bedding and towels, and clean the room every few days. It’s within walking distance of the airport, too. I took the bus there and it took ages, so I walked back to the airport instead. That was an easy 45 minutes, and even the bus would have taken longer. Great value, and I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Catania. Thank you guys!

The rooms were clean and had air conditioning, and the staff were really friendly. The beds and pillows were a little uncomfortable, though. They welcomed us with complimentary drinks, showed us the main attractions on a map, and made my dog feel very at home. They allow pets, too. I’d definitely stay here again if I visit Catania.

The only issue was how clean the surrounding area was. Otherwise, everything was fine: the rooms were comfortable and clean, and we found a garage nearby. I stayed here with friends almost a year ago, and the two owners were very kind and attentive.
