La Terrazza Apartment

The apartment was uncomfortable, and the owner didn’t manage the situation well. Despite living next door, she was never available when we needed anything. The air conditioning at least helped with the scorching heat. There was also a cat, almost certainly the host’s, which made things unpleasant for me because I’m allergic to cat hair. One day it even slipped into the house through the ajar front door. The layout was awkward too. Upstairs, there’s an old mezzanine structure with two single beds and no wardrobe or bedside tables. Downstairs, a small living room has a sofa bed and kitchenette, and it connects to the double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, meaning all guests have to use that bathroom. At check-in, the “host” told us about extra charges that weren’t listed in the reservation. She was arrogant and impolite, and even told us to go elsewhere. After an hour of arguing, we had to go along with her requests to complete check-in. If we’d been able to take her up on the invitation to leave, we would gladly have done so. Highly not recommended.

Excellent.
