The staff were so kind, and the residence was beautiful, neat, and clean. I left some belongings behind in my room after checking out, and one of the women kindly mailed them to me at her own expense. I'll definitely stay at this residence on future visits to Catania.

The hosts were welcoming and easy to reach on WhatsApp. The outdoor area is kept up well and is manageable. The Circe room has two floors and simple but modern furnishings, with free Wi-Fi and lots of restaurants just a short walk away. The nearest supermarket is about 2 km away. There is parking in front of the house, but it's public, so sometimes there are no spaces and you have to use one of the many side streets. My GPS couldn't locate the street, so "Ognina Plaza" was the alternative. The place is right by the harbor, away from the center, but there's a bus stop just outside. I think it's ideal for a business trip or two people, but the location doesn't suit families. One small thing: I would have liked a pool.

Get the right room and you can look out over Ognina’s port and the sea, which was the nicest part for me. It’s a former Agip motel, now a mid-range hotel with fairly ordinary amenities.
