The area is very peaceful, and there's a busy, noisy street about 200 m away with a supermarket and a few spots selling Sicilian and Italian specialties. You can catch a bus there to downtown, roughly 2 km from the apartment. The apartment itself was in good shape, modern, and Luca was very friendly. I slept comfortably in the bed, though I found the bathroom cramped and the sofa uncomfortable. One thing I hadn't checked before booking was that it was on the third floor with no elevator, which was inconvenient for me. That's on me for missing it.

The building was quiet and private, and Luca, who welcomed us, was very kind and happy to answer our questions. I spent a week here and felt at home. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and the bedroom was comfortable. It had all the comforts I needed, including a washing machine, hairdryer, heating and cooling air conditioning, and a fully equipped kitchen. I cooked throughout the vacation without any trouble. It's just steps from central Catania and its attractions, including the sea. I'd happily stay at Palazzo Lucchesi again if I return to Catania.

The apartment made a great base for seeing Catania and heading out of town, and we always found free parking without trouble. It was clean, practical, and comfortable. The owner greeted us warmly and gave us useful advice.

Right in the heart of Catania, this place has a distinctive feel, and the apartments are tastefully furnished and spotless. The owners were very kind and ready to answer our questions. I'd gladly come back when I'm in Catania again.
