Plebis B&B

We only came for a night, but had a very positive stay. The hotel is lovely and the service was excellent. The girls at reception were great, including Renata, as was the hotel manager.

The room was clean and very good, and the staff were kind and nice. For the price, it’s hard to find a better option for both the room and the location. The noise, though, is crazy, from the motorcycles and the restaurant across the way. If you think you’re not sensitive to it, you may find out that you are.

Right in the center of Catania, this B&B is close to the city’s attractions, and the room was comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything you’d expect from a top-notch hotel. Parking at Parcheggio R1 AMTS is a spacious option just a 5-minute walk away. There are only a few rooms, so we had no trouble finding a table in the small breakfast area. The coffee was as delightful as you’d expect in Sicily, and the food was fantastic. The center of a bustling Sicilian city can get noisy, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. This is undoubtedly the best B&B I’ve stayed in, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Catania.

Plebis is in a perfect location, with plenty of restaurants and the main attractions just a few blocks away. Each morning there was a huge breakfast spread of fresh local food. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even driving us to the bus station in their personal car. We had a great room with a view of the street and a couple of local restaurants. It was quiet at night, and we didn’t hear street noise.
