Riva House Catania by Wonderful Italy

What stays with me about Riva House is how much it feels like a real home, with a family story behind it. Spending New Year’s Eve there felt intimate and meaningful, and Daria made us feel part of something beyond an ordinary stay. She’s a thoughtful, kind host, and her hospitality comes through in the little gestures. The house was Daria’s grandmother’s mansion, and her husband now looks after it. Renovated about two and a half years ago, it keeps its original character while adding modern comforts. The rooms feel authentic rather than impersonal, and the whole place is comfortable, clean, tidy and elegant. You can see the care and balance in the details. It’s also good value for money. Riva House has identity and memories as well as a place to sleep, and I’d be happy to return.

There were eight of us, and the apartment had enough space for everyone to have a large room of their own. We all slept well thanks to the comfortable mattresses. The two bathrooms plus an extra toilet were a real help, and the place had a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The manager was exceptionally kind and helpful. The house is conveniently laid out, well located, and has all the amenities you need.
