There’s a lovely terrace and excellent internet, and a lovely lady keeps the downstairs tidy. The neighbor’s terrace one floor below is home to a truly fabulous dog. The apartment is in an old palace, and I’ve attached a photo of the former owner’s bust. If you stay here, look for the gentleman in the garden of Villa Bellini. It’s a fantastic apartment in the heart of the city, old but well maintained, as you can see in the video. The room leading through to the bathroom feels a bit cramped when you’re sharing. There is an elevator, but you still have to go up to the top floor, so I wouldn’t recommend it if climbing stairs is difficult.

The only awkward part was that you have to pass through the smaller bedroom to get to the bathroom, which could be inconvenient at night. Otherwise, I loved this place: a spacious, beautifully styled apartment in a historic building, spotlessly clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The host was easy to reach on WhatsApp and spoke good English. It made me want to move in ;)

We’d happily come back :) The host was kind and helpful, and the Wi-Fi worked great. The apartment is right in the heart of Catania, just a short walk from the main sights. It’s roomy, with a living room, kitchen, two large bedrooms and a big bathroom, all decorated with good taste and equipped with what you need.

The owner was really kind and helpful. The apartment is in a historic building in the pedestrian area at the heart of Catania, and it’s well cared for and equipped with all the comforts.
