Villaggio Turistico Europeo

I spent a month at Villaggio Turistico Europeo and had a wonderful stay. The staff were always friendly and ready to help with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality made a long visit comfortable and enjoyable. Service across the resort was excellent, and I really appreciated the care they showed. Highly recommended!

For what you pay, this is a real bargain, and I highly recommend it. We stayed from 2025.06.22 to 2025.06.28 as a group of nine, in two bungalows next to each other. Both had air conditioning, a small kitchen, and a bathroom. Only two of our group spoke English, so we often had to run to reception on everyone's behalf. The staff were super friendly and helpful every time. WiFi worked across the whole resort, even on the beach. The beach was good too, with a sunbed and parasol for each resident, regular cleaning, and lifeguards on duty all day. The restaurant didn't have the biggest selection, but the meals changed daily. Everything I tried was delicious and reasonably priced. On our last day we needed to get to the airport, but there wasn't a van available for nine people. I asked the receptionist if they could take us, and they managed to sort it out at the last minute.

Reception were rude and ill informed. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I fell in the choppy water while the lifesaver sat sunbathing. Instead of helping me out, they asked if I could swim. We paid for three spaces, then were made to leave the third umbrella for another family, even though more than 20 other umbrellas were free. My friend had to sit away from us. The woman I think was the manager asked why I was speaking English instead of Italian. I told her I was born in Australia to Italian parents and can't speak Italian very well, but why was that even an issue? When I asked what it would cost to rent a cabin all year, she said it would probably be too expensive for me. The place is old, poorly kept, and littered, with disgusting customer service and arrogant management. Third world accommodation. Stay away!
