Chic

The beach was beautiful and the staff there were very helpful, though I didn't care for the food at the beach bars. At the hotel, the rooms were small and very dirty. Food portions were small and put together haphazardly, and the quality wasn't great. The buffet kept serving the same things as the day before, sometimes for several days. I didn't enjoy my long weekend there.

This was my second year at the hotel. Its seaside location, helpful staff, and good food are real pluses, but there isn't much variety, especially at the buffet. The mattresses, which I think are still wool, were hard, and the pillows didn't suit me. I woke every morning with severe lower back pain. I'd strongly urge the owner to spend a few pennies on new mattresses and pillows, and, if there's money left, on beach towels too. We ended up with a broken one, while I saw a neighbor under the umbrella, staying at the hotel after us, with new hotel microfiber towels.

We spent 13 days in a nightmare, and August 2025 is one to forget. The breakfast was limited, and unless you got there by 7:00, you risked being left hungry, as we were. We were moved from table to table until everything had run out, then made to eat breakfast at the bar at our own expense, even though we'd paid for hotel breakfast. The rooms were small and dirty, with an old bathroom caked in limescale and a black toilet at the bottom. The bunk beds were rusty, and a broken wardrobe mirror was dangerous for children. Towels and sheets were old and worn. Staff were inattentive. The cleaners came into our room without knocking while we were inside, and kept doing it even after we mentioned it. Maybe the hotel's only CHIC feature is its name. Never again!

The menu was passable, but the rooms need renovation. It's an older three-star hotel, away from the city center, with five floors and one small elevator.
