Hotel Astoria

We came back to Cattolica after years away and spent a week here in August. We already knew the hotel, so it was our first choice, and it lived up to that. We had a comfortable fifth-floor room with a sea-view balcony and effective air conditioning, and everything was clean, including the shared areas. The menu was varied and good quality, and the staff were courteous and ready to help with requests. The beach opposite is very well equipped, with two pools, and can be included in the stay. The central location is excellent, too. One small suggestion: when a guest has been considerate and caused no trouble, it would be nice to leave them a coffee at checkout. The food was excellent, and so was the location. We just stayed here and had a great time.

We first stayed here two years ago and came back because the location is so good. The meals were just as good this time, with quality ingredients and plenty of variety, and the sea view is stunning. The waiters are kind and professional. Reception, dining room and housekeeping staff are all friendly and always willing to help. The all-inclusive deal is great value, too. We'll definitely return!

The beach partnered with the hotel is spacious and well equipped, with two pools, a playground, a soccer field and beach volleyball. It really has everything. There's an underground garage, plus a few nearby parking areas with a shuttle. We just got back from Hotel Astoria and are sure we'll return. The food was good, our room had a truly splendid sea view, and the mattresses were very comfortable. Staff were always available and the receptionists were especially kind. A special mention for the entertainment team, who were great at keeping the children amused.
