Hotel Madrid

The best part for us was how kind everyone was, from Mr. Stefano to the smiling, helpful waiters. We spent three days at this simple place and found the rooms and shared areas spotless. The menu kept changing, with fresh ingredients in the varied appetizer buffet and meat and fish cooked really well. It's a few steps from both the sea and town center, and we found a warmth here that we don't think you'd get at bigger hotels. We'll be back and tell plenty of friends about it. Thanks for everything.

I won't be coming back. My single room was so poor I wouldn't expect it even at a train station: the shower had no enclosure and sat behind a door, and the pillows were practically nonexistent. My requests went nowhere, and the owner seemed indifferent. I repeatedly explained that I have to eat lactose-free for health reasons, yet everything had cream. The TV didn't work either. The whole thing felt annoying and presumptuous.

They even gave us the keys to the "house" so we could come and go without worrying when reception shut at 11:30 PM. We were traveling with our dog and they made us feel welcome, putting us in a room with a terrace even though we hadn't asked for one when booking. When we got in touch later, they went out of their way to change our room. The place is just a few steps from the sea and the room was decent, but the hospitality is what stands out. That's Romagna for you. We had a great time, thank you!

Stefano, thanks for everything. We enjoyed the varied breakfast, with sweet and savory options, and the vegetable buffet was exceptional. The meals were decent too. It's a very clean two-star hotel, with helpful, friendly staff, especially the two waitresses who were always smiling. The beach service is included and only a few steps away. The hotel shuttle had parking problems, perhaps because of MotoGP, though that wasn't the hotel's fault. We'll come back and recommend it. Elena and Mirco
