We were robbed of 450 euros at this hotel in 2013, and the place left us with a terrible impression of Italy on our first visit. For the whole week, the restaurant served us canned food, and the towels were never fresh. This place should be called “The hell,” not Venezia. We hope and wish it will be removed from the Suntours Oy, Finland list.

We arrived exhausted and hoping for a comfortable, clean place to stay, but the room was dusty from the floor to the bed. We told reception, and a man came up, but he was odd and annoying. He came in without knocking and had a piece of towel to wipe the top of the shelves. The curtains were broken and filthy, and the balcony was a little joke, with lots of dusty decorations. The stairs looked like they'd been missed for 1-3 years, with dust webs everywhere, as if after a recent Halloween party. The elevator was as slow as a turtle. Parking was a pain too. We had to find somewhere far away, or take one of their parking suggestions and pay. This isn't a place to call “home” for a few days. Not recommended!

The rooms are basic and small, but quiet and clean. If you're mostly out and just need a place to sleep and have breakfast, you'll be happy here. PS

The balconies are nice and the shower is big. Breakfast staff were super, and the room and bathroom were clean, though housekeeping didn't come every day. Some of the other staff weren't very friendly. Nights could be really noisy, with sounds carrying from the floor and no one seeming to care about keeping things quiet. On some evenings I think the hotel staff were having a party, it was very loud and made it hard to sleep. It's okay overall, but a little overpriced.
