Hotel Villa Fulgida

The meals and the people are what made this stay stand out. We had breakfast and dinner included, and I’d recommend that option. Breakfast was simple and good; dinner was freshly cooked each day, generous without feeling wasteful, and offered enough choice that we always found something we liked. The staff were kind and helpful from the owner right through to the cleaner. The setting was lovely too, with a charming, well-kept building and garden, a clean room with a great view, and a spot right by the water but still close to town. We’ll be back as soon as we can.

We came for the Oceanman swim race and would happily stay here again. The hotel is right on the beach, and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and great to deal with. Our room had been recently renovated. I liked the character of the Italian style villa, which feels more distinctive than the standard modern hotels along the strip. The price was excellent for what we got.

The staff really made us feel welcome, and the food was great. We also liked the rooms and how close the place is to the sea. We had a lovely stay and will definitely come back. Thank you!

The team clearly works well together, and whenever we had a request, reception found a way to help. It’s a family-run hotel, and although things are a bit old and simple, that gives it the feel of an original old Italian home. We really enjoyed staying here and will be back.
