Aparthotel Des Alpes

We came back for a second visit, and it’s a great place for families, with decent rooms and living areas. Several ski resorts are within about a 30-minute drive. We would’ve liked a dishwasher and more comfortable beds, but those weren’t deal breakers.

Everything was clean, and the rooms were new. It’s in a good spot too, just a few minutes’ drive from the nearest ski site, and close to the city pool and skating place. Very nice place, and I plan to visit again. Warmly recommended!

Good value for money and very family-friendly, with a great location near the main ski slopes and the city centre. By car, it’s about three minutes to the Alpe Cermis gondola, pizzeria, supermarket, or clothes shop. The ski bus stops in front of the hotel, but only goes to Alpe Cermis. For Latemar, you have to walk 20-30 minutes to another stop. The hotel has a swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, and gym included in the stay, plus free WiFi throughout. Rooms are small but clean and well equipped, with a basic kitchen of your own, though there’s no dishwasher or oven. The TV is very small, has only Italian stations, and doesn’t have YouTube or Netflix. The hotel is in a great spot in the centre of the valley, and the staff are very friendly.

After a day on the slopes, the spa is well worth a visit. The sauna is great, with both dry and wet options, and there’s a really big jacuzzi. Staff were friendly and helpful, and they put us next door to our friends when we asked to be close by. The rooms are compact, modern, and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a coffee machine, lemon juicer, and cheese grater, though it was missing wine glasses. The bathroom was bright and modern, and the kids liked the cool bunk beds. The one problem was the connection: we had no network coverage in our room most of the time, and WiFi only worked at reception. It would be great to have it throughout the building.
