Daniela, the owner, gave us excellent ideas for hikes and a nearby restaurant to try, though I’d suggest eating at Orso Grigio first because the wine list is superb. The breakfast buffet is delicious and includes local items like cold cuts, cheeses, and fresh apple juice, so I’d recommend adding breakfast. The hotel can also arrange a Trentino guest card, which lets you use the ski lifts at a fixed rate throughout your stay. We were there for nine nights and found Orso Grigio to be a delightful, family-run four-star hotel. The modern rooms were clean and very quiet, and the spa and wellness area was well equipped. Since it’s right in the heart of town, shops and the pharmacy are within walking distance. A great choice for a relaxing stay in Val di Fiemme.

We’re coming back as soon as we can. The safe location and manageable size made it a great fit for travelling with kids. Rooms were spacious and spotless, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and skilled. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. Everything felt like a 10/10, with a lovely, warm atmosphere.

The restaurant had enough variety that we ate nearly all our meals there, with daily tasting menus as well as à la carte options. They offer breakfast-only, half-board, and full-board rates. We stayed three nights, and our group tried three different rooms. I don’t think any room here is a bad one: each was very clean, well laid out, and properly appointed. We especially liked 201 and 403. The hotel is in the center of a beautiful little town, and great hikes are only a few minutes away by car. The multilingual staff were friendly and very kind to our children. That kindness stood out in a region where, from what we saw, children are generally expected to behave impeccably and loud or misbehaved kids are unusual.

We stopped in for breakfast before skiing and had a fantastic meal. There was a great spread, including buffet options and hot dishes, and the team were friendly and welcoming. I’d highly recommend it.
