Margherita Family Apartments

The beach is only a two-minute walk away, and there’s convenient free off-road parking. It takes about an hour to get to Venice using actv. The reception staff are friendly and available around the clock, just a minute’s walk away. Our bungalow’s boiler broke, but Mario and Romina handled it very professionally. They offered us keys to another room so we could shower, and gave us complimentary breakfast when we asked, which we really appreciated. The place was spotless, even behind the bed. I’ve stayed in less hygienic rooms at Hilton and Marriott on work trips. Perfect family stay, and we’ll definitely be back.

After checkout, you can arrange with reception to spend the whole day at the beach, and they’ll also give you parking for the day. That’s a huge bonus. The one downside is that the mattresses are quite worn, though I’m sure they’ll replace them someday. We’ve been to Cavallino and Junior Hotel four times now, and it remains our favorite destination. The staff are always nice and ready to help. Our apartment was cozy and clean, with a basic but completely sufficient kitchen. We also loved having a balcony for dinner in the evening.

It met my expectations, maybe even a little more. I did miss having an oven in the kitchen.

The room itself was nice, and I liked the place, but the mattresses were uncomfortable. I also had a cold shower in October, which just isn’t acceptable. Breakfast was fairly good, though the service was terrible, and I won’t be coming back to this dump. I wouldn’t recommend it for school groups either, since they don’t tolerate the energy and liveliness of children and teenagers.
