B&B Le Fontane Azzurre

They charged us €10 per person to use the pool, and the service was practically nonexistent. We were told when booking that the room had air conditioning and that parking was available, but we had to park off the street. The room had no comfort at all, not even a mini fridge or a bottle of water. The pool is shown in the photo.

With some work, this place could have a lot of potential. The woman who runs it is very kind, but the rooms need maintenance: the bathroom exhaust filters are dirty, the drains don't work properly, and some bulbs are burned out. It also needs air conditioning in the rooms and pool access.

We rented a triple and a double room. The triple was nicer, with a larger bathroom. The double wasn't very clean, and its bathroom was small and had no bidet. It was extremely hot, but we were afraid to open the window because there was no mosquito screen. There was a fan, though the noise kept us awake, so we switched it off. The welcome was good.

I come to Cave once a month because I need to, and I've found the management warm and welcoming. Valentina and her family are always kind and helpful. The room and linens are impeccable, and everything feels homely, in a rural setting surrounded by greenery with a swimming pool.
