Tenuta San Jacopo

A real gem of a winery, with breathtaking views and beautifully made wines. The staff make you feel like family, and every pour came with a story that made the tasting unforgettable. Mavi and Sabrina were both fabulous to work with. Can't wait to come back.

We'd definitely return. The apartment was beautiful, with air conditioning, and the pool was lovely. Our car could be parked in the enclosed lot, where it was also possible to charge it. The place is quietly situated and the service was top notch, just as the reviews said. Sabrina knew a lot on the wine tour and gave us good ideas for places to visit nearby.

Here, time seems to follow the pleasures of the day: ripe figs, a slow meal that turns into a celebration, or the sun setting behind medieval towers. Tuscany has a way of making you happy to lose your way, whether you're strolling quiet cobbled streets in winter or enjoying the golden warmth of summer. Winter brings cozy enotecas and clear views over the hills. Summer fills the landscape with red poppies and golden wheat beneath a wide blue sky. That invitation to eat, pray, and love feels woven into daily life, leaving a calm that follows you home. All you need is the view and a glass of wine 🍇.

The pool was clean, refreshing, and lovely, and we enjoyed the wine too. We tried the bubbles, Chardonnay, and all the rosso, then ordered some to enjoy at home. The house had good air conditioning, and the kitchen was stocked well enough for us to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We loved the peaceful San Jacopo estate and the wonderful service from Mavi and her colleagues. Do take a tasting at the estate to learn about the wines and try what they make. At the end of our trip, Mavi showed us the large house that will be renovated for events. It has frescoes and an amazing view that stretches as far as you can see. We can't wait to come back in a few years and see what they've done with it. Thank you, Manon and Wouter.
