Golden Hotel & Apartments

I’ve stayed in over a hundred hotels, and this was the worst one I’ve experienced in years. The bathroom smelled awful. We asked the staff several times for help, but they were unfriendly and didn’t send anyone until our third request. What they did still didn’t help, and the smell was disgusting. We weren’t allowed to move rooms. The rooms also felt cold and unwelcoming. Having to stay there for two nights was a shame, and I’d like my money back.

Six stars for the crew! The staff were genuinely kind, and the service was really good. They also set something up every day, from pool parties and cocktails to live music and kids’ entertainment.

We wanted somewhere near the sea that was good for kids, and this place fit the bill. There was a nice apartment, the whole property was clean, and the saltwater pool was crystal clear. The playground and great breakfast were nice extras. We felt it was well worth what we paid.

The rooms especially stood out to me, they were really good quality. Staff were friendly and helpful, too. It’s a wonderful hotel, and I’d happily recommend it. Feels like it deserves four stars.
