The owners were kind and really helpful, and our two-bedroom, two-bath apartment was clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette and a view over the Mediterranean. I loved staying here. A scooter would be useful for getting into the heart of Cefalù. What an amazing city, I'll be back!

The food was excellent, and for the price I thought the place was quite good. The sea is rocky and there's no beach, though that also means no sand getting everywhere. I liked it :) Entry cost 10 euros per person.

A quiet spot about 15 minutes from Cefalu, with lido services and a pebble beach that isn't touristy. We left the car in the bay before the train station, then took the small staircase down to the beach beneath the tracks.
