Villa Neviera - Wine Resort & SPA

We’re a young couple, and a change of plans led reception to offer us an early checkout. They confirmed by email that we could leave early and get the remaining payment back. After we left, though, we were told the money would be kept, and the staff refused to communicate with us. We had to pay twice for hotels for the days ahead. It was a very disappointing and stressful situation.

Our room was upgraded to a suite, and both it and the house were amazing. The Palazzo is in an incredible location, a real hidden gem. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the addictive chocolate Cornettos! ❤️ The service was incredibly friendly, and they did everything we asked.

The silence around this place was wonderful. There’s a small pool among fruit trees and vineyards, and a forest behind the property where we took a lovely, peaceful walk. After a year of working in the city, I really appreciated that quiet. We enjoyed our stay and will come back. The main building is a beautifully renovated old farmhouse, with a big courtyard, vineyards, and olive trees around it. The other two guest rooms are newer but still finished to a high standard. Staff were courteous, and our room was spotless. It came with bathrobes, slippers, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and water that was refilled daily, which we appreciated. Breakfast was good and there was enough, but I’d hoped for more variety. The room was beautiful and tastefully set up, though with such mild, lovely weather I would have preferred to eat outside. Guests can also have a whirlpool tub installed by the pool. The villa hosts weddings, birthdays, and other parties behind the main house. We were there for a birthday and a wedding, so there was music until very late and even fireworks. It’s a great location if you plan to spend your time there. If your holiday is mostly about going to the beach, though, the distance and poorly maintained roads make getting there difficult. It’s a luxurious, quiet, super-relaxing place.
