The route there has spectacular views, and Luigi knows the trails and altitude well, which was useful since I was cycling. I booked by phone on the day itself, and he was welcoming, helpful, and full of information. The place was quiet and neat. Wi-Fi and phone reception were patchy, but that didn’t take away from the peaceful feel. If you’re arriving by bike, I’d book without hesitation.

Great stay, great value. The room was great, the owner was great, breakfast was great, and the place was tidy, surrounded by beautiful nature.

Breakfast in the lovely garden was generous and delicious. Al Casalicchio is a carefully looked-after farmhouse, beautifully renovated and set among greenery, with the sea not far away. We stayed one night and appreciated the original room names, like lentisco and corbezzolo. The welcome was excellent.

Luigi knows his homeland inside out and had invaluable suggestions for enjoying both the sea and the mountains. The peaceful setting made it easy to relax, and breakfast on the beautiful terrace was hearty. Try the homemade desserts. Casilicchio is warm and cared for, and it really feels like home. We’ll definitely return, highly recommended.

The apartment was fresh, clean, and practical, and breakfast came with delicious cakes. Luca was kind and helpful throughout. We had a positive experience in every respect and will definitely come back.
