Hotel Miramare

We had a truly relaxing week at the hotel, which looks out over one of Palinuro's prettiest beaches. Breakfast was generous, and dinner brought something different each day, with dishes prepared expertly. The staff were helpful and courteous. Kudos to everyone!

The fried seafood and linguine were exquisite, and the owner's son served us with courtesy and real professionalism. The restaurant has a top location and a wonderful terrace looking out over enchanting Ficocella beach. I highly recommend eating here.

We wanted a quiet, clean place to enjoy the sea and traditional food, and had five days of complete relaxation. The crystal-clear water, full of fish, is just a few steps from the hotel. Guests on B&B or half-board can get coffee, liqueurs, drinks, and tasty lunch salads from the beach kiosk. The hotel restaurant was a very pleasant surprise, and the staff were always helpful without intruding. The little square at the hotel is enchanting for dining outdoors and enjoying the view. The fried eggplant and anchovies were superb, and we'll be back. Five stars for the kind, courteous waiters, the maitre d', and the girls on the beach. Special mention to the lifeguard who... go and see for yourself.

The food was made with fresh ingredients, and service was impeccable. It's a beautiful property with every comfort, a stunning beach, and a fantastic view.
