The room lets the place down, especially given the location and price. Its windows are badly worn and need replacing, and they don’t shut properly. The bathroom has no window, and there’s a hole where the vent used to be, with wiring exposed. The view is spectacular, and the place itself is lovely. The service was excellent, and breakfast was served with great courtesy and availability.

The setting is lovely, tucked away from traffic but still close to the beaches and center of Palinuro. I stayed just two nights and didn’t want to leave. This little B&B is charming, and the rooms are cared for and, above all, clean. There’s private parking too. Mornings started with a buffet-style Italian breakfast on the sea-view terrace, while the very kind Nadia made coffee. Silvano, the owner, was always available and made guests feel at ease, with suggestions for places to visit and restaurants where we could eat well. A fantastic stay I’d love to repeat soon!

Silvano was discreet but so welcoming and helpful, while Nadia won us over by taking care of us each morning with a smile and making our moka pot before the hearty breakfast. The view from the breakfast table was wonderful. The B&B is a charming, well-kept detached villa with a seaside feel. It’s handy for reaching the center of Palinuro, and the Saline beaches are walkable if you’re happy with a walk of up to 500 meters. Our room was a little smaller than standard, but the private terrace more than made up for it. Coming back from the sea and sitting out there was priceless. The room had every comfort and was very clean. We’d absolutely stay again.

We ended up extending our stay because we’d grown so fond of the people there. Although we’d never visited Cilento before, we discovered a wonderful part of Italy and were welcomed warmly and professionally. The villa has a breathtaking terrace and view over the Gulf of Palinuro. Nadia is a delightful person, and her sumptuous breakfasts came with recommendations for places to visit and things to do. Silvano, the owner, opened his home to us and gave excellent advice on destinations and restaurants. We found a friend in him. We left our hearts with them. Thank you! ❤️
