B&B Piazza Duomo

The owner was very welcoming and friendly, and the spotless rooms have the essentials, including a kitchen for cooking. Still, the B&B is a bit expensive for what it offers, and the property itself isn’t anything special. It overlooks the Piazza del Duomo, which gets noisy at night even with the windows shut. From 5:00 AM, trucks from the post office below start loading and unloading. I woke up then and couldn’t get back to sleep, which was quite a nightmare. I skipped breakfast at the bar recommended by the B&B because the only two croissants in the window looked really old. I chose to pay at another bar instead and had a decent breakfast there. About fifteen euros less would have felt fairer.

The view of the Duomo was spectacular, and the rooms were impeccably clean. Everything matched what was described in the contact information. We stayed two days ago, and the owner Sergio was extremely kind and helpful. Thank you, Sergio!

The manager was rude when dealing with the problem. We had booked three adjacent rooms on the top floor, but on arrival were offered one in the basement, which we didn’t use. One of the other three rooms was very nice and clean. Breakfast at the café next door is a mediocre croissant with coffee or cappuccino. An unpleasant experience.

Mr. Sergio is extremely kind and helpful, and the welcome at the B&B is wonderful. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The one slight disappointment is that breakfast is served at a nearby café.
