The apartment was roomy and clean, and the beds were comfortable. I also liked the quiet, safe area just outside the ZTL zone, which felt good for Rome. A coffee machine and a few basic cooking supplies like oil or butter would have helped. The washing machine was there, but the detergent only lasted one load. The jacuzzi worked, though about half its jets weren’t working. Still, it’s a good option.

My flight was cancelled today because of the situation in lebanon. I contacted the owner to ask about cancelling and getting a refund, even though the booking was non-refundable. Other hotels I reached out to accepted my request right away. This owner was rude and refused to cancel or return my money. The worst, don’t book with him.

I wouldn’t risk a holiday or money on this place. The owner kept EUR 700 after I made an erroneous reservation a year ahead and refused to make any allowance. Other reviews describe similar things happening to other guests. Don’t book here.

The host was greedy and not at all helpful to me as a customer. I strongly advise against booking this property.

A very handy base for seeing historic Rome and the Vatican.
