We spent some magical days in Cernobbio, thanks to Giorgia and Davide. They put so much love and care into everything they do, and you can feel it throughout the place. Their two rooms are beautifully personalized, full of thoughtful details, and the atmosphere reflects how passionate they are as hosts. Breakfast was delicious, all handmade with organic ingredients grown at their own farm by the lake. We had many 'breakfasts', and their food transported us to another world. True hospitality from the heart, it’s rare to find a couple who care so much and love what they do. Villa Derriere really is THE gem in Cernobbio.

Breakfast is included, and Davide is an amazing chef. If you like, he prepares 5-course-menus at night for €60 per person, absolutely worth it. Everything is freshly made with organic ingredients, many from their own farm, including the bread and jam. Even the cappuccino milk is foamed by hand, and it was one of the best cappuccos I’ve had. The rooms aren’t huge, but the whole setting is amazing and well worth it. Villa Derrière is a beautiful Italian Villa that they rented out, with just two guest rooms. It feels less like a hotel than like being a personal guest of a young Italian couple by Lake Como. We spent two nights here on our honeymoon, and it couldn’t have been better. A unique, mesmerizing experience. We’ll definitely come again sometime.

The rooms are meticulously looked after, and breakfast is generous and delicious. This is a refined, welcoming place in one of the most beautiful villages on the infamous Lake Como. I recommend a visit to these wonderful places.

Breakfast here is on another level, and the rooms each have their own distinctive style. The villa itself is beautiful, with a vintage feel, and the owners are both welcoming and very professional. They really make you feel at home. Highly recommended!
