Agriturismo Cameli

The location worked really well, and the place is good value if that’s what you’re after. The pizza was lovely on the days they served it, Friday through Sunday. Getting there means a fairly long stretch of rough road, and there isn’t enough space for two cars to pass side by side. The accommodation is beside the restaurant, where the pool is too. Our room was very basic, though we didn’t spend much time in it. The plastic cover had come off the bedside lamp and it gave me a small electric shock. During our five nights nobody cleaned the room or changed the towels, and we had to ask at the restaurant for toilet paper. The staff were friendly enough, but their English was limited. Our Italian was terrible too, so we couldn’t communicate very well, and that was partly on us.

A complete letdown. The food and staff were disappointing, the bed in our room was very bad, and the front door was broken.

A lovely pool and really good food, especially the pizza. It’s a great spot for some quiet and relaxation if you like hiking or biking. The room is tiny, though the bathroom is unusually cute and has plenty of space. 🌲🍕🏊‍♂️

There’s room to sit outside in private, with a table, and some of the mini apartments even have a kitchenette for making sandwiches or something quick. It seems like a handy setup for families, especially in spring or summer. The property itself is lovely and surrounded by greenery, very peaceful. We booked through Smartbox, with a package for two that covered a night and dinner. The two young people who welcomed us were kind, professional, and helpful both when we arrived and at breakfast the next morning. Our room was simple, clean, and tidy. The mattress wasn’t especially comfortable, but it was fine for one night. Dinner was good and the portions were generous. Breakfast had a nice choice of sweet and savory things, and there’s a pool for warmer weather. All in all, we had a good stay in a quiet setting.
