Families with young children seem to love this place, so the shared areas can get quite loud :) The location is great, the staff are amazing, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. They also take superb care with gluten-free meals to prevent cross-contamination.

The beach loungers were included in the price, and the beach is literally a three-minute walk away. There’s a small pool at the hotel, plus a bigger, more secluded one at their other hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a wide choice, while lunch and dinner were served at the table. Everything is gluten-free, which made me feel safe and included, and meant we could share meals without worrying about getting ill. The food was exceptional, with lots of freshly cooked pasta, seafood, and cakes, all delicious and served with a smile. Special thanks to the gentleman at reception and the lady managing the restaurant for their outstanding service. I highly recommend Hotel Fenice to anyone with coeliac disease looking for a comfortable, welcoming stay where you can feel “normal” again. We’ll definitely return! One request for your British guests: please add kettles and tea and coffee stations to the rooms! 😅

The kitchen has gluten-free dishes, and the rooms are spacious, with family options. The location is good and close to the beach. Maybe bicycles could be free for guests ;) .
