I'm really disappointed and heartbroken. Nearly £1000 of my money was taken, and the hotel wasn't clear about how it was handling my booking. I booked through booking.com for a 2020 stay, but couldn't travel because of Covid, so it was moved to this year. Then my flights were cancelled, and at the time Italy only let tourists from the UK in if they quarantined for 5 days. booking.com told me I qualified for a refund. When I spoke with the hotel, it became clear I was meant to be offered either a refund or one chance to move the reservation. The hotel processed a refund without my consent and rebooked my travel dates, then refused to move them again after my flights were cancelled. I had no way to enter the country, but they kept insisting I try to come anyway. They didn't offer credit or any chance to use the rooms I'd paid for. They weren't flexible during Covid and seemed only interested in taking the money. I would have asked for a refund and booked again once all travel restrictions lifted, but I wasn't given that option. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

The breakfast was really good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has been newly renovated and is great value. Almost too good for just 3 star. Keep up the good work 💪👍

My room was basic but laid out well, with a lovely terrace furnished with a table and two chairs. The hotel is by the pine forest of Pinarella and conveniently close to the beach. The owner is very friendly and good at responding to guests' requests. Breakfast was very good, with a well-stocked choice of both sweet and savory food. There's also a spa and a solarium terrace, though we didn't use them.

Dinner is worth having if you're on half board, it's homemade and tastes authentic. We don't eat fish, and the chef was incredibly kind and immediately thought of something for us. Breakfast was just as carefully prepared, with organic jams, homemade peanut butter, and lots of homemade desserts. The pasticciotto was delicious. It's a small, welcoming hotel near Cervia's seafront, with a friendly, homelike feel. A lovely spot for a relaxing weekend or holiday. Everything was excellent, highly recommend it!
