Hotel Costa del Sole

At Lady Mary, you can relax and feel looked after, with your needs taken care of right away. It still has that Romagna feel, and the value for money is truly excellent. The cuisine is excellent too, right down to the pastry chef. The hotel is on the seafront, well placed for both bars and the beach. If you need a lower rate, there’s also the two-star Costa del Sole right next door. Bikes are available, along with an excellent spa and a relaxation pool. What more could you want? 💙

The sea view from our side room was beautiful, and the cleanliness was excellent. The building looks nice from outside. Our room was small but in good shape, with new furniture. The bathroom was the big drawback: extremely cramped. It has all the necessary fixtures, but they’re not all practical to use. The bidet, especially, is wedged under the sink and unusable.

The location is fantastic, just a few meters from the beach and around 200 meters from the center of Milano Marittima. This small, family-run hotel gave us a really positive experience, with friendly staff who were happy to answer questions or concerns. Our room was small, as the booking information had said, but it was well kept and we had no complaints, especially for the price of €54 for one night. When we arrived, they gave us a permit for the blue-striped parking spaces at a reduced rate of €10 per day. The lady even let us keep it for half a day the next day without extra charge.

We had a great stay over 11 nights, and the price was very good. The owner and staff were kind. The building itself is older, though the rooms have been renovated. Ours had a desk and chair, bed, wardrobe with a semi-bookcase outside, luggage rack and shoe rack, plus a bathroom with a walk-in shower. There was also a small balcony looking out toward the sea, trees, and the hotel behind us. We skipped breakfast, so I can’t say how it was. I only know it ends at 9:15. One small downside for me was their free-roaming pinscher. I’m afraid of dogs, but the owners would keep it in when they saw me coming downstairs. The location was excellent, 500 meters from the beach. Rating: 8.
